Engineers attain LEED Accreditation
CJL has been a leader in LEED/Green design for many
years and continues its leadership by facilitating LEED training sessions
for the entire company. We are proud to say that 14 more members of our
engineering staff have recently earned LEED Accredited Professional
certification. This brings our total of Accredited Professionals to 23.
Seneca
Nations on track for LEED Certification
The Seneca Nations Sports Complexes are multi-purpose buildings consisting of an Indoor Lacrosse Arena, Gymnasium, Fitness & Aerobics areas, Youth Recreation Room & a Pool with Spa. Additionally there is a Concessions Bar, Coffee Bar, and full commercial kitchen attached to a Multi-Purpose room along with office spaces for administration.
The Seneca Nations Sports Complexes will be the first LEED certified building constructed by a Native American community.
CJL Engineering opens its St Louis Office
Due to our expanding design role in the St. Louis, Missouri health care industry, CJL has established a local office in the area. Staff leadership for this office is headed up by Carl Poettker. The new office is located at 2199 Interbelt Business Center Drive in St Louis. Carl and his staff can be reached at 618-781-7468.
CJL Engineering has been ranked as #40 on the recent Building Design + Construction Magazine 2009 GIANTS 300 list. This ranking represents an increase in MEP design revenue from $8.33 million in 2007 to $10.49 million in 2008. Rankings are based on MEP design revenue for 2008, and examines information from engineering firms nationwide.
